Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains our policy regarding refunds for subscriptions and credit purchases made through AskEditor. By purchasing any subscription or credits, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. No Refund Policy

AskEditor operates a strict no-refund policy on all subscriptions and credit purchases. We encourage you to thoroughly test our free plan before purchasing any paid subscription or credits.

All sales are final. We do not issue refunds once you purchase a subscription or credits.

AI credits are consumable digital goods that provide immediate access to premium features including AI-powered image generation, video creation, text-to-speech, script generation, and other advanced services. Once credits are consumed or features are accessed, they cannot be returned or refunded.

We provide a free plan that allows you to test our service thoroughly before making any purchase. We strongly recommend using the free plan to ensure AskEditor meets your needs before upgrading to a paid subscription.

2. No Refunds Will Be Provided For

Refunds will not be issued under any of the following circumstances:

  • Consumed AI Credits: Any AI credits used for image generation, video creation, audio synthesis, script generation, or other AI-powered features
  • Exported Content: Videos, images, audio files, or any content that has been downloaded or exported from the platform
  • Subscription Periods: Any subscription period that has already started, regardless of usage
  • Service Dissatisfaction: Dislike of the service, features, or general dissatisfaction with the platform
  • Technical Issues: Temporary service unavailability, slow performance, or processing delays
  • Forgotten Cancellations: Failure to cancel subscription before the renewal date
  • Change of Mind: Any decision to discontinue using the service after purchase
  • Feature Expectations: Features not meeting personal expectations or requirements
  • Incompatibility: Service incompatibility with specific devices, browsers, or workflows
  • Insufficient Usage: Not using the full allocation of credits or features during a billing period

3. Billing Error Exception

The only exception to our no-refund policy is in cases of billing errors, including:

  • Duplicate charges for the same subscription period
  • Incorrect amount charged (different from the stated subscription price)
  • Unauthorized or fraudulent charges on your account

To request a refund for a billing error, please contact our support team at Discord with your transaction details. Billing error refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days upon verification.

4. Subscription Cancellation

While we do not offer refunds, you may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing dashboard.

How Cancellation Works:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled
  • You must cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing period
  • After cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
  • No prorated refunds will be provided for unused time in the current billing period
  • Unused credits will expire at the end of the current billing period and cannot be refunded

5. Service Provision

AskEditor is provided "as is" with no warranties, express or implied. While we strive to maintain high service availability and performance, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

You assume all risk when using AskEditor. By purchasing a subscription or credits, you acknowledge that:

  • You have tested the free plan and understand the service capabilities
  • You accept the consumable nature of AI credits as digital goods
  • You agree to the no-refund policy outlined in this document
  • You understand that service performance may vary based on usage patterns and external factors

6. Immediate Access and Right of Withdrawal Waiver

By purchasing a subscription or credits, you acknowledge that you will receive immediate access to digital content and premium features, including but not limited to:

  • AI-powered image generation credits
  • AI-powered video creation credits
  • Text-to-speech synthesis credits
  • AI script generation capabilities
  • Advanced video editing features
  • Increased storage capacity

You expressly agree to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you will thereby lose your right of withdrawal as applicable under consumer protection laws (including EU Consumer Rights Directive).

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and AskEditor's refund policy. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

9. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of AskEditor after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
